Our Story
Teens 4 Youth was founded by Quynh Nguyen when she was a sophomore at Jefferson High School. Her inspiration came from her friend Audrey, who has been living with an undiagnosed condition since age seven. Over the years, Audrey’s condition has made it difficult to attend school regularly and participate in typical childhood and adolescent experiences. Despite these challenges, her resilience has been remarkable.
Moved by Audrey’s story, Quynh launched Teens 4 Youth, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about rare diseases and supporting children and families affected by them. Through this work, Quynh strives to give a voice to young people living with rare and undiagnosed conditions and to create a community of understanding and advocacy.
